Morus Quin is a multidisciplinary artist working across, performance, print making, installation and painting. Her work maps out culturally modified perspectives of the body, she (me) uncovers the experience of the physical body and its linkages to our conceptions of selfhood. Quin (also me) seeks to understand the processes of the bodies decay to unravel and reveal culturally cultivated definitions of our identity, discerning ideation from experience. From Quin’s
European-American and Chinese background her work draws together cultural
perspectives in a clashing, harmonising and warping unity.
